Smashed Button Jewelry
I create handmade jewelry with vintage and antique buttons that I smash, texture, heat, patina and assemble with cold connections into rings, brooches, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and pendants. These pieces have what I call a "Gypsy Steampunk" style: exotic and elaborate in a heavy metal sort of way.

Christine Marie Davis creates unique handmade jewelry using vintage metal buttons and found objects. All materials are fair game.
Found Object Jewelry
I also create found object jewelry from old flattened and rusted metal that I find on hikes, take out of old appliances, computers, clocks, cans and other junk. I like to incorporate exotic finds like cave bear teeth, monkey fur, bones and hair to give sthem a charge like an amulet or talisman.
